This MID-T01A fits both the compact and affordable descriptions, with its seven-inch screen and coming in at under $200. Despite its low cost there is no problem with the browser, which is fast and responsive. The screen, at seven inches and widescreen orientation, is acceptable. It is quite reflective and the viewing angles are not overly wide, however at this size the device is not ideal for sharing the display with another person. While the screen’s pixel density is not great, the display itself works fine and responds well to the touch.
Meanwhile, you get volume rocker and power button on the side. On the other short edge, there are multiple ports and connectors including mini HDMI output, USB 2.0 host port, USB mini B port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, and DC input. Unfortunately, this tablet does not come with a cable to use with HDMI connector, you have to purchase your own cable.
The whole thing looks neat, there is 4GB of internal storage, you can expand its storage capability via the built-in microSD card slot. Insert your memory card into the slot and enjoy photo slideshows, music playback, and even video playback, thanks to support for various media file formats. With G-Sensor, you and rotate the display in portrait or landscape mode.
The remaining specs include a seven-inch screen with 800×480 pixels. The 1.2 GHz processor is single core and its 512 MB of RAM helps it move quickly, making the tablet capable of playing videos, browsing the web, playing games, etc. This tablet also comes with Wi-Fi functionality built in, so you can easily check through emails and browse the web with the integrated IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN connectivity. The built-in front-facing camera is capable of video calling over Wi-Fi. The built-in lithium battery keeps the tablet running for several hours of entertainment. You can recharge it with an AC power adapter.
Overall, the MID-T01A 7-inch Touchscreen Android Tablet PC is in line with expectations for the price. Its capacitive touchscreen is responsive. The core specifications and the latest OS version do give this budget tablet a future proofing.
If you are looking for a portable tablet PC for on-the-go entertainment, this product is for your ideal option, and worth considering.
