The Next3 model vs. the Next2 model

• The Next3 OS is Android 2.1, while the Next2 OS is Android 1.2.
• The screen sensitivity is a lot better on the Next3.
• There is an expanded variety of functions available on the Next3.
• Thanks to Android 2.1, you can read some of Kindle books (but not all, due to Kindle for Android incompatibility issues) on the Next3.
• You will not be able to read any Kindle books on the Next2, which only comes with Android 1.2
• Compared to the Next2, the 8.4 inch Next3 display is better than the 7 inch Next2 display when trying to read an e-book, viewing internet web pages, using the virtual keyboard, tablet menus, and many other features. Pay a bit more, and get the larger Next3 instead. Unlike other tablets, it comes with a soft black nicely made leatherette cover.
• The Next3 is much more versatile, expandable, and electronically roomy tablet PC. However, the Next2 is a smaller, lighter, and more portable device in purses and briefcases than the Next3.

Before you purchase, please study its pros & cons to weigh out concerning buying the Nextbook. When the Nextbook can work, it is really an excellent Wi-Fi ready e-Reader tablet. And for what it does for the money, this Next2 is a nice tablet, and fun to use.

The Appstore has the 24 math game, test, bible, dictionary, and chess. You can download a trial version of Office Suite Pro. You can read e-news (NYT,MSNBC,CNN, Science news, etc) daily, check email, watch YouTube, update Facebook and Twitter, listen to your own uploaded music. You can upload personal videos to an 8GB SDcard, as well as surf the internet. The Next2 is like a mini iPad, this is the next best thing.

If you want a more versatile device, that allows you to check email and surf internet, play movies and audio, and also provides an e-reader capability at a reasonable price, then get the Next2.
